Tacos On The Street, the celebrated fast-casual Mexican restaurant born in the streets of Puerto Vallarta, MEX, will officially open its first U.S. location last week on the northeast side of San Antonio at 22026 US Highway 281 N, Suite #101. The restaurant, known for its fresh street-style carne asada recipe, will offer a simple, but effective menu with tacos, tostadas and quesadillas like, all showcasing thinly shaved, high-quality beef grilled over blazing charcoal and finished with a rich beef glaze that brings deep flavor and crisp edges.

Every beloved taco, cheesy quesadilla and crispy tostada on the menu is made from a time-tested recipe passed down since day one. Signature tacos showcase thinly shaved, high-quality beef grilled over blazing charcoal and finished with a rich beef glaze that brings deep flavor and crisp edges. They’re layered with two house salsas—a creamy avocado verde and a bright tomato cruda—crafted to balance richness and freshness. For those who crave bold, elevated heat, a smoky, fire-roasted chile de árbol salsa is also available. Each taco is wrapped in a fresh tortilla, pressed daily from a custom blend of nixtamal masa and finely ground corn flour.

In addition to carne asada, Tacos On The Street will also offer cocktails like refreshing Margaritas and an iconic and original Jamaica Mezcalita. The restaurant is also proud to serve Jarritos and Twang as part of its customer experience. Additionally, Tacos On The Street is thrilled to introduce Van Leeuwen Ice Cream to San Antonio through two special Vanilla and Strawberry sundaes.

The restaurant, which first opened 32 years ago, is celebrated its launch in San Antonio with a $3.20 combo special on opening day only. The special, included three carne asada tacos and a Jarritos drink.

HOURS:

Tacos On The Street will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
