Texas town of Kyle again fails to break record of biggest gathering for people with same name
More than 700 people named Kyle descended Saturday on the Austin suburb of Kyle for its fifth annual attempt to break the world record for the largest gathering of people with the same name. And, once again, the city fell short of that goal, Austin TV station KVUE reports. The Texas gathering failed to pull the 2,3256 like-named folks needed to surpass the Guinness World Record, which is currently held by a group of Ivans that gathered in a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2017.
