Authentic Detroit-Style Pizza Concept is Giving Back to San Antonio Food Bank with Limited-Time Items

Authentic Detroit-style pizza concept, VIA 313, is introducing three limited-time items — the Bacon Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza, PB&J Sticks, and a reimagined Smoked Grog Drink cocktail — to benefit San Antonio Food Bank, which has a mission to fight hunger and restore hope for those facing food insecurity in San Antonio and Southwest Texas.

Available now until June 3, $1 from each special item and every side of ranch ordered will go to the San Antonio Food Bank throughout the month of April as part of VIA 313’s Better Giving Through Pizza initiative.

ABOUT ‘BETTER GIVING THROUGH PIZZA’

Via 313’s Better Giving Through Pizza is an ongoing initiative created to give back and has since donated over $200,000 to more than 45 charities, including some in Texas.

A portion of the profits from Via 313’s monthly pizza specials are always donated to local charities through its Better Giving Through Pizza initiative.

MENU ITEMS

Bacon Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza — Via 313’s cheese pizza baked with chicken and crispy bacon, then topped with arugula, Caesar dressing, parm chips and freshly shaved parmesan cheese.

PB&J Sticks — Via 313’s Detroit-style dough with creamy peanut butter icing and grape jelly.

Smoked Grog Drink (cocktail) — Via 313’s rendition infuses tequila and mezcal for a distinct smoky essence. Replacing the conventional honey with Mike’s Hot Honey to add a fiery kick, the cocktail is balanced with refreshing grapefruit and lime juices and then garnished with a Tajín rim, catering perfectly to agave enthusiasts and is ideal for leisurely sipping on a sun-drenched patio.
