Why I Give Back
A personal note from Ernest
Growing up, the greatest gifts weren’t the big ones— not the dirt bikes, go-karts, or even new soccer cleats. The gifts that mattered most were simple: a fresh pair of socks, clean underwear, and a warm coat. Those kept me warm, showed me I was cared for, and they’re the very things I noticed many less-fortunate neighbors went without.
Serving through St. Jude Catholic Church in my youth left a mark on me. Nothing makes you more grateful for what you have than seeing what others don’t. That experience shaped my purpose: to lead with gratitude and give whenever I can. This coat drive is one small way to do that—together.
