Popular Pearl Market Hosts Inaugural Smoke & Fire BBQ Celebration on Oct. 18

Popular Pearl market, Pullman Market, will celebrate craft barbecue with 10 acclaimed pitmasters, live fire demos, and family-friendly fun!

 Pullman Market, the expansive market and culinary hub at Pearl in San Antonio from the award-winning Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, announces its inaugural Smoke & Fire BBQ celebration on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. This first-of-its-kind event will bring together ten celebrated pitmasters for a family-friendly evening of live fire demonstrations, BBQ tastings, craft beverages, live music, entertainment and more.

“Pullman Market’s Smoke & Fire isn’t just a food festival – it’s a celebration of craft, flavor, and community,” said Kevin Fink, Partner of Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group and Pullman Market. “We’re excited to launch an annual tradition that brings the community together for an unforgettable evening featuring ten of the country’s most talented pitmasters and their signature barbecue creations.”

The inaugural event will feature the following acclaimed pitmasters, each showcasing their own unique approach to barbecue.

What, When, Where:

BBQ Smoke & Fire attendees will sample signature bites from each pitmaster, sip curated beverages, and enjoy live music and entertainment in a family-friendly festival atmosphere. The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pullman Market, 221 Newell Ave., San Antonio. VIP ticket holders will have early access beginning at 4 p.m.

Tickets:

Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite now in two tiers: VIP admission at $125 and general admission at $95. Children 12 and under will receive free entry (children’s tickets not applicable to VIP). Tickets include all food, beverages and entertainment.
