On Monday, August 4th, DoubleTree by Hilton is offering a complimentary signature, warm chocolate chip cookie, or the allergy-friendly version to anyone who stops by any of its nearly 400 U.S. hotels.
Double Tree by Hilton Cookie Milestones
The brand’s iconic chocolate chip cookie has become a beloved symbol of its warm welcome and caring service, earning a loyal following around the world. Some delicious milestones include:
- 2019: Became the first–ever food baked in space during experiments aboard the International Space Station.
- 2023: The allergy-friendly version was introduced to extend a welcome to even more guests.
- 2024: The famous cookie baked in space landed on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia.
- Today: more than 20 million DoubleTree by Hilton cookies are consumed each year, using over 1.2 million pounds of chocolate chips.
- Later this year, consumers will be able to enjoy the Cookie-tini, a dessert cookie martini featuring the signature DoubleTree cookie, crafted by piebird, a new restaurant and bar concept launched by DoubleTree Hilton. Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Sky Vanilla Vodka
- 1.25 oz Drillaud Blanc Creme de Caocao
- 1.5oz Bailey’s Creme
- 0 .5 oz Lazzaroni Amaretto
- .75 oz Monin Chocolate Syrup
- 1 Dash of Orange Bitters
Garnish
- Whipped Cream
- Cookie
- Chocolate Sprinkles
- Straw
Equipment needed
- Hurricane Glass
- Cocktail Shaker
- Standard Ice
- Single Strainer
Directions:
- Prepare the glass: Set aside a hurricane glass for serving
- In a cocktail shaker, combine:
- 1.5 oz Sky Vanilla Vodka
- 1.25 oz Drillaud Blanc Creme de Caocao
- 1.5 oz Bailey’s Creme
- 0 .5 oz Lazzaroni Amaretto
- .75 oz Monin Chocolate Syrup
- 1 Dash of Orange Bitters
- Add ice: Fill the shaker with standard ice
- Shake: Perform a hard shake to thoroughly mix and chill all ingredients
- Strain: Using a single strainer, pour the cocktail into the hurricane glass
- Top: Crown the cocktail with a generous dollop of whipped cream
- Garnish: Place a cookie on the rim or floating on top with a dash of chocolate sprinkles over the whipped cream. Insert a straw for serving and enjoy!
