Clementine Announces September Lineup of Exciting Culinary Events
Clementine is kicking off the month with an exciting lineup of new culinary events and the return of community favorites. Guests can look forward to this month’s events, including Dessert Salon and an Italian-inspired Friday Lunch.
WHEN

WHAT
Clementine’s monthly Friday Lunch returns, and this month Chef John and Elise will take guests on a culinary journey through Liguria on September 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The lunch is inspired by author and food writer Laurel Evans’ The Cookbook: Recipes from the Italian Riviera. The Italian-themed lunch revisits a beloved menu Clementine first presented in 2022, this time with a fresh twist.
The menu features a three-course meal with offerings including torta di cipolle, gnocchi di castagne, and burrida, a fisherman’s stew, among others. San Antonio locals and visitors interested in attending can book their reservations on OpenTable HERE.
Elise Russ, owner and pastry chef of Clementine, will host a two-day dessert salon on Wednesday, September 24 and Thursday, September 25, at 7:30 p.m. Elise will present a four-course dessert menu alongside beverage pairings. The intimate event welcomes 12 guests per night and is $75 per person.
The salon will begin with a huckleberry and corn ice cream sundae, followed by figs with Greek yogurt and almond frangipane. Next comes a pineapple upside-down cake paired with pink peppercorn ice cream, and the experience concludes with her take on a chocolate candy bar. Seats are limited and can be made via OpenTable HERE.
